Veterans Homecoming Week

Veterans Homecoming Week is one of the largest Veterans Day celebrations in the country — a week of free events honoring American military veterans across all eras. The week includes the free Veterans Village at Ballparks of America, special veterans recognition shows at Branson theaters, the 17th Annual Walmart Tribute to Veterans Show at the Mansion Theatre, the Veterans Day Sunrise Service at College of the Ozarks, and culminates in the iconic 94th Annual Veterans Day Parade at 11:11 AM on November 11.

Just minutes from Roark Creek Resort — and arguably the most meaningful week to be in Branson.

Who It’s For: Veterans and their families, military history buffs, patriotic visitors, military families, and anyone wanting a powerful Branson experience.

What to Expect: Daily free Veterans Village at Ballparks of America, special veterans recognition events at theaters across the city, Sunday morning church services with veteran tributes, the Walmart Tribute to Veterans Show, Veterans Day Sunrise Service, and the 94th Annual Veterans Day Parade.

Do’s: Veterans should bring military ID for free meals at participating restaurants, arrive early for the Veterans Day Parade (good viewing fills up by 9:00 AM), and dress in warm layers for outdoor events.

Don’ts: Don’t expect normal traffic patterns during the parade. Don’t park along the parade route.
